Someone came along and said we need to have a sport where girls can compete, and where kids don't have to hit each other or risk injury from a thrown baseball. The powers-that-be at the time searched the world for the most boring sport possible that even someone standing in the middle of a field can claim they're "playing" and came up with soccer.
Today there are far more kids playing soccer than any of the other sports, and we've taught our little girls to be ruthless competitors, which brings us to this:
