DC Gay Marriage Bill Signed...In a Church

Yeah, but it was Unitarian so I'm not sure that means anything:
Two weeks after giving the measure preliminary approval, the Washington, DC, City Council on December 15 adopted a marriage equality law. The 11-2 vote in support of the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act of 2009 was identical to the first-round tally on December 1.

Three days later, in a ceremony at All Souls Unitarian Church in the city’s Mount Pleasant section, Democratic Mayor Adrian Fenty signed the measure, with his parents, Phil and Jan Fenty, an interracial couple looking on....
Rather than call it "All Souls" they should call it "All Gods" because that would best describe Unitarian beliefs. They believe in everything, which means they really believe in nothing. The fact that they would encourage gay marriage certainly isn't surprising.

However, Ann Althouse wonders why they would flaunt such a violation of the separation of church and state?

It's so sad, this is really turning into a queer world. There is one ray of hope, at least they can't birth new one's, they have to be recruited.

herman, you sicken me. Hopefully one day the world will be rid of narrow-minded humans like yourself. I'm assuming you think "civil rights" are ruining society.. Well all I have to say is I hope you one day have a change of heart and understand what equality really means. And if that doesn't happen, I hope you think of this comment EVERY time a state legalizes marriage for all, which inevitably will happen in all states.
