End of the World Could Be Delayed Six Years

I guess we have longer than we thought to save the planet. From the London Times:
"Copenhagen Stalls Decision on Catastrophic Climate Change for Six Years"

The key decision on preventing catastrophic climate change will be delayed for up to six years if the Copenhagen summit delivers a compromise deal which ignores advice from the UN's science body.

World leaders will not agree on the emissions cuts recommended by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and are likely instead to commit to reviewing them in 2015 or 2016.
I believe Al Gore was just quoted as saying the Arctic Ice Sheets will be gone in 5 years, so at least for those taking a cruise to the next UN Global Climate Summit they'll be able to go right over the top of the world if they'd like.

One thing's for sure, the guy who leaked or hacked the ClimateGate emails is a hero. Without that this whole thing might have progressed unhindered by facts.

Makes me think the computer hacker had some Divine inspiration and intervention.

Three cheers for the Email Hacker!!! This guy is a genius, and Al Gore is still as dumb as ever.

I think there were more than a few Copenhagen attendees who were privately grateful for the Climate Gate debacle. Gave them cover for the vote they would have preferred not to deliver.
