I got my start during the RatherGate mess when CBS was trying to pin false charges on President Bush. If it wasn't for the work of the conservative blogosphere the real story might never have gotten out.
Just this year we've seen several other big stories ignored by the mainstream media but reported by the conservative blogosphere, and because of their work the story got out:
- The success of the Tea Party protests
- The ClimateGate emails and the whole global warming hoax
- The effect that cap-and-tax will have on the cost of everything we do
- The details in the Obamacare health bill that's now likely to pass.
- The true story of the arrogant Harvard professor and the policemen he and Obama tried to abuse
- The radical backgrounds of numerous Obama appointees.
- The vocal stylings of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright
And there's more. The mainstream media has one goal - protect Obama and the Dems. They're no longer interested in reporting the facts regardless of where those facts take them.
2010 looks to be an earthshaking political year. How much damage will be done before we have a chance to act at the ballot box? Will we be able to remove enough lefties from Congress to make a difference? Can we stop some of this nonsense when the new Congress convenes in 2011?
