Britain's University of East Anglia says the director of its prestigious Climatic Research Unit is stepping down pending an investigation into allegations that he overstated the case for man-made climate change.Penn State promises an investigation on their end where Michael Mann, inventor of the infamous "hockey stick" graph is located, but so far no suspension has been announced. He should be next...and soon.
The university says Phil Jones will relinquish his position until the completion of an independent review into allegations that he worked to alter the way in which global temperature data was presented.

ClimateGate is starting to claim some scalps. Phil Jones of East Anglia University, a key player in fudging the data that supposedly proved man-made global warming, has been suspended:

When we get the real model of climate here on earth we will marvel at the multiple layers of control created on this planet. Can things go wrong and cause major climatic disruption? Yes, however, it takes more than mere man to make it happen.
