A fond memory for many of us - on this day in 2000 Al Gore conceded the election to George W. Bush. I remember that night well because I was preparing to perform in a Christmas concert at Saddleback Church and they played the concession speech on the auditorium's big screens live as it was broadcast nationwide. After so many days and so many legal twists and turns, it all came as a big relief to millions.
In honor of this noble anniversary, perhaps it's time for Al Gore to concede that man-made global warming (or climate change as it's now known) is just as much a crock as his election challenges.
Do the right thing, Al.

George Bush:50,456,002
Al Gore 50,999,897
I actually voted for Bush because I had bought into the liberal media bias reporting about Al Gore:
earth colors, Love Story. Internet, Naomi Wolff Buddhist monks et. al.
