Open Government...Except When It's Closed

This lede from AP kind of says it all (h/t Don Surber):
It’s hardly the image of transparency the Obama administration wants to project: A workshop on government openness is closed to the public.
Jim Geraghty has long said that all Obama campaign promises have expiration dates.

...and from what Jim just said here in your post we have no idea what a 2011 Afgan pullout means. It could mean nothing at all. Time will tell. ALL of his comments have expiration dates with that soft milktoast approach that I cannot stand. ugh!

Like I've said before time and again, Obama speaks with a forked tongue. His words really don't mean anything, sort of like some used car salesmen.

This is a typical Chicago style backroom operation, unfortunatly it's happening with the leadership of the U.S. Government.
