In both realms, though, the effort is wasted unless they offer something their audience wants. The marketplace of ideas is not so different from the marketplace of goods.”Exactly. A free people have nothing to fear from increased political speech (other than the risk of boredom). People who want to control your lives and keep you from knowing as much as possible are the only ones who need fear.
