NBC Bumps Conan, Conan Dumps NBC

There are lots of ruffled feathers today at the Peacock Network:
"The Tonight Show" host Conan O'Brien said today he's rejecting a proposal by NBC to push the program back by 30 minutes to accommodate Jay Leno's return to late-night.

NBC wants to move "The Jay Leno Show" out of prime-time and to the 11:35 p.m. EST daily slot, bumping "Tonight" to 12:05 p.m. EST.

In a statement Tuesday, O'Brien insists the move would "seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting."
You can read the lengthy statement at the link. I have a feeling that when this is all over nobody will be terribly happy.

NBC has a chance to improve their late night without Conan, I won't watch as long as he is on air.

I don't watch either one of them, but you know, they are both going to end up with a lot of $$$$$!

Conan's fantastic - but he needs more time to gain more audience loyalty during this time slot.
