Political Quote of the Day

From President Obama to House Dems during a meeting in which he was urged to avoid putting Dems in bad positions by forcing them to support legislation that was unpopular at home. According to retiring Rep. Marion Berry (D-AR) the president was warned that 2010 could be another GOP blowout like 1994. He disagreed:
‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’
And you thought Bill Clinton was a narcissist.

Does anyone really think that Obama's personal popularity (now below 50% in many polls) will be enough to save the day in November? He might be lucky to still be in the 40's by then.
