Well, After All, They Used to Be Called "The Bullets"

Some years ago the Washington Bullets NBA team changed their name to the "Wizards" because with the violent crime rate so out of control in D.C. the name "Bullets" seemed like a cruel joke on the community.

Looks like the players still have some of the old "Bullets" in them:
The Washington Wizards never told the NBA that an all-star player and his teammate drew guns on each other in the team's locker room during a fight over a gambling debt, the New York Post reported.

The league reportedly found out about the Dec. 21 incident after the Post inquired about it. The alleged gun duel now threatens to end not only the careers of the two players involved, all-star Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton — but also of general manager Ernie Grunfeld, the Post reported.

Well, you want the team to represent the community. Sounds like these guys are perfect.

And it also goes to show you that even though D.C. may have the toughest gun control laws in the country it won't stop the thugs from having them.
