Moonbeam and Whitman Tied in CA

1970's retread Jerry Brown wants to be our governor again here in the formerly Golden State, but he's running neck-and-neck with former eBay head Meg Whitman (from Rasmussen):
Former eBay CEO Meg Whitman now runs dead even with likely Democratic nominee Jerry Brown in California’s gubernatorial contest.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely California voters finds Republican hopeful Whitman and Brown tied with 43% each. Six percent (6%) like some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.

A month ago, Brown, a longtime California political figure who now serves as attorney general, posted a four-point lead over Whitman, 43% to 39%. In November, the two were tied at 41% apiece.
Whitman has been running lots of TV ads introducing herself to California voters. Jerry Brown is currently our Attorney General and former two-term governor, so he's probably better known that he would like.

I like Whitman's chances. I would have thought the Dems could come up with someone better for their candidate, but maybe not.
