The Peace Gasbag

No, I'm not talking about various members of Code Pink, but of the Peace Blimp which is promoting itself this way:
Imagine...a "Peace Blimp"- defiantly displaying a message of peace across the skies of the nation, unable to be dismissed, ignored or brushed aside. Rallies for peace greet the blimp in every city it visits. Politicians, celebrities, movie stars, athletes, war veterans and peace activists make the call to bring our troops home by boarding the blimp for a ride. Crowds flock to the events and are educated about the war. With each stop along the tour the momentum for peace grows from a dull roar into an undeniable fervor until the seemingly endless wars come to an end.

Now, let's make this a reality.
No, let's not.

I wonder if this is being promoted by the same people who tried to create a Ron Paul blimp in 2007? I have a feeling it is just based on the promo paragraph from that deflated effort:
Imagine..the mainstream media is mesmerized as the image of the Ron Paul blimp is shown to tens of millions of Americans throughout the day (and throughout the month). Wolf Blizter, stunned and as if in a trance, repeats the words "Amazing, Amazing".
Imagine...me in a Sopwith Camel shooting it down...

Send the blimp over Iran and watch reality bite.
