Yes, America, you're too dumb to know what's really going on and are easily led by someone pretending to know what they're doing. That's pretty much the attitude that you'll find throughout the political establishment, though I think it's more prevalent among Democrats, especially those who seek to marginalize groups like the Tea Party protesters.
