The main event was the concert by the Sonoma State University Choir at St. Vincent de Paul's Catholic Church in Petaluma. They did a terrific job, and the acoustics in the old church were amazing. Our daughter is on the extreme far left (in the choir, but not politically).
The church is full of stained glass windows, and I thought the play of light on this statue was pretty interesting.
This is the Petaluma River right near where we ate dinner in downtown Petaluma. You can take this river all the way to San Francisco Bay.
I got a photo with my daughter before the concert.
This was also downtown, a drinking fountain installed by the Women's Christian Temperance Union in 1891.
Saturday morning we hit the shopping district in San Francisco. Here's a view of Union Square from the front of Macy's.
The ladies posed by one of the heart sculptures in Union Square.
From downtown we headed over to Pier 39 for lunch where I caught the girls again. That's Alcatraz in the background.
Here's a closer view of Alcatraz with a pleasure boater speeding past.
The Golden Gate Bridge was almost lost in the haze.

Gorgeous photos! It's been many years since I was last in San Francisco. Thanks for sharing!
Best wishes,
