Moonbat Congressman Files Complaint Against Florida Doctor

I could see this coming a mile away. An NAACP-connected person complained about the Florida doctor who recommended Obama voters seek other doctors and Florida moonbat congressman Alan Grayson thinks he can file a complaint:
An outspoken U.S. congressman is planning to file a complaint against the central Florida urologist who posted a sign on his office door warning supporters of President Obama to find a different doctor.

A spokesman for Rep. Alan Grayson, who angered Republicans last year when he said they wanted sick Americans to "die quickly," told FoxNews.com that Florida Democrat is helping a constituent who was affected by the sign to file a complaint next week with the proper authorities. Grayson will also file additional complaints with all relevant boards or agencies, Grayson spokesman Todd Jurkowski said.

The notice on Dr. Jack Cassell's Mount Dora practice says, "If you voted for Obama, seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years."

Cassell told Fox News on Friday he wasn't refusing care to patients but wanted to educate them on how the new health care law would affect them.

"I came across the timeline for implementation of Obamacare and I got a little discouraged when I got to next year when I found that most of the ancillary services and nursing homes and diagnostic imaging, all these things start to fade away," he told Fox News' Neil Cavuto. "And I felt that my patients really need to know about this. And the more I thought about it, the angrier I got until I finally felt like I'm going to put a little splash page on my front door and just get people thinking a little bit."

Cassell, 56, also provides Republican reading material in the waiting room -- probably not a risky move, given that Mount Dora's 10,000 residents and the surrounding area lean heavily conservative. Above a stack of GOP health care literature, a sign reads: "This is what the morons in Washington have done to your health care. Take one, read it and vote out anyone who voted for it."

A spokeswoman from the Florida Department of Health, which licenses physicians and investigates complaints, said Friday there was no law prohibiting Cassell from advertising himself this way.

"Because there is no statute, there would be no grounds for a complaint," spokeswoman Eulinda Smith said. "It would be legally deficient."

But Grayson appears undeterred, arguing the Cassell has violated the Hippocratic Oath when he turned away patients on the basis of political beliefs.
So, it's now the duty of Congress to enforce the Hippocratic Oath? Was that nationalized too? And the fact that the doctor hasn't actually turned anyone away - that's doesn't matter either? What a moron.

Grayson is a media whore who knows the only way to get attention is to be more outrageous than the other outrageous Dems. He's on his way out and I fully expected him to seize on this opportunity for classlessness and stupidity just the way he has.

This is the strategy of how to tie up conservatives. Keeping them off balance by doing stuff like this. I hope this loon gets dumped ASAP. Very good post, thanks.

The way I see it the only moonbat around here is the author of this blog. You want to insult somebody try some of the right wing wackos like Limbaugh, Beck or Palin.

I'm wondering Craig, why you think the Doctor can't do what he did. He isn't refusing to see anyone. He puts up a sign on his door (free speech) and the liberals try to divert the attention, like this so called Congressman, who by the way is sworn to defend the Constitution. What about all of our rights being eroded like this by these politicians (from both sides)? I'm not fan of any of the three you mention but, they are not making laws or taxing me like the idiot in the story. Some of you people really need to wake up and worry about this country and where it is headed and not so much about Limbaugh and Beck.

I guess "craig" is glad there are still some who believe in free speech, although I would not be surprised if she wasn't being paid to be a troll--smells a little lit that.

Dang. Forgot what I came to say.

I am not a lawyer.

Suppose there was a person (named "craig", maybe, that was well known for frivolous law suits and bothersome other stuff.

Is a doctor required to treat her?

I'm guessing personal ethics would, but I'm wondering about externalizes.

My guess is that this guy will pull down his shingle if the heat gets too bad.

Alan Grayson is at least being open about the fact that the Constitution has been rendered moot and is acting accordingly. Freedom of Speech is only a formality, and so is the right to private property, and it can be removed in effect at any time by a Congress and President that has already proven that they are hellbent on destruction. Grayson is arrogant and cocky and would be a poor poker player, but he is just a foreshadowing of what the Ruling Class in the Country Formerly Known as The USA will be in about four years from now unless God has Mercy. Nothing else will solve this.
