Rail Festival

If you're a train buff like me and live within a reasonable distance of Perris, CA, this weekend is the Rail Festival at the Orange Empire Railway Museum:
Enjoy an entire day of fun for the whole family. Ride trains and trolleys all day long, plus a special mini "Run One" where you can "take the throttle" on a real railroad locomotive. There will be live bluegrass music, a special parade of Los Angeles trolleys on our "Loop Line", children's bouncy tents, handcar rides, exhibits from Knott's Berry Farm and the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum, as well as other special features.

There will also be food vendors on site for lunch. Both steam and diesel powered trains will operate on the mainline!

Gated event; Adults $12, Children 5-11 $8, Under 5 free.
Lots of cool train stuff to see and ride on.  I shot some video out there last year that you can see here.
