Waxman's Show Trial Canceled

The plan to bring CEOs to D.C. to testify before Congress as to why they announced big write downs due to Obamacare has been canceled.  From Michelle Malkin:
Victory! Democrat Chief Inquisitor Henry Waxman has retreated from his attempt to intimidate companies who dare speak out about the costs and consequences of Obamacare.
His April 21 witch hunt session has been cancelled, according to left-wingers. (Update: Fox also reporting same.) The event is still listed on the House Energy and Commerce with the press release from last month, but no further information.
Cancellation confirmed by House GOP here.
Perhaps Waxman and Company thought better of it while contemplating the prospect of a nationwide revolt by all businesses who are simply complying with disclosure laws and accounting principles, and telling the truth about the burden of the Dems’ crushing mandates.
Maybe someone finally explained the law to Waxman.

Will Collier has a comment:
“The CEOs should show up anyway, and hold a press conference illustrating all the additional costs and related impacts to their bottom lines and prospects for hiring new employees.”
Yes they should.
