Arizona Law Discriminates Against Those Who Are Breaking It

That's the new legal reasoning from the left, according to American Thinker:
If there were a Nobel Prize in Law, it would be awarded to the Left this year, as the Left has had the "final breakthrough" in legal reasoning on Arizona's new immigration law.

What is this breakthrough? A reductio ad absurdum: the Left has figured out that the law discriminates against those who are breaking it! This is the logic of the president's condemnation of the Arizona law which is itself only necessary because he is taking a lax attitude to his Constitutional duty to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed" (Article II of the Constitution).

The "Arizona reductio" should become the "universal defense" - "the law discriminated against me because I was in that minority.
That makes about as much sense as anything else I've heard.

Lib logic. My head hurts. Theirs seem to have nothing in them to hurt.
