The Big Hill

My son and I caught the steam locomotive Santa Fe 3751 climbing the hill through Mission Viejo this afternoon. The old locomotive was working hard to pull the excursion train up the hill, and I'm sure she could be heard for miles. We heard her coming well before we could see her.

In case you're wondering about the Amtrak Genesis locomotive that's coupled to the tender, he's just there in case the loco breaks down, and is providing the electrical power for the passenger cars.
