The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has a story about a woman who went to the University of North Carolina on an ROTC scholarship, only to decide in her final semester that she is a lesbian and gosh, cannot serve in the military after all.How long until some Democrat declares this unfair and asked for a waiver of the scholarship costs?
The military wants its money back.
That’s the law.
The law — courtesy of a Democratic president and a Democratic Congress in 1993 and continued under a Democratic president and a Democratic Congress in 2010 — also states that if you are gay, keep it to yourself.
Generally, military officers should know the military law.
Sara Isaacson, 21, the woman who quit the ROTC in her final semester, told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel why she came out: “It really came down to my integrity. That was the most important thing to me.”
Good for her.
That’ll be $79,265.14.

Coming Out of the Closet Ain't Cheap
At least not for this ROTC member who decided to quit due to her sexual preference (from Don Surber):
