Grand Old Opry Under Water

I'm friends on Facebook with Duane Allen of The Oak Ridge Boys and he posted this update:
TUESDAY NIGHT OPRY WILL BE IN THE WAR MEMORIAL....ALL OTHER OPRY SHOWS WILL BE IN THE RYMAN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.....THE OPRY HOUSE IS FLOODED....I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS FOUR FEET OF WATER ON THE STAGE.....THAT ENTIRE OPRY AREA IS UNDER WATER.......
This photo was posted by Jeremy Cowart on Twitter:
Another update from a Nashville resident said the ballrooms at the Opryland Hotel had six feet of water in them. The whole area around the Cumberland River is a complete mess.  That's going to take a long time to clean up.

That is sad. I've been a speaker at conferences at Opryland Hotel, and while I don't think it has the same aura as the Ryman, it is a nice venue.

And tat is going to take a while to cleanup.

Al gore told us....
