"I'm a new Democrat," said Harley Smithson, 51, of Baltimore, who said he had recently switched from the GOP. "I want to be with a party that's for something instead of against everything."Doesn't matter if what they're for is socialism, at least it's something.
What a moron. The Dems deserve him.

The GOP stands for winning elections by being as liberal as the Democrats used to be before they became Marxist. That is the only "principle" that the GOP has. The only modus operandi the GOP currently has is trying to scare everyone that a 3rd Party cannot win any elections. If the GOP does win one election they will again be visible as the party that stands for nothing by accepting everything on the principle that "more inclusiveness equals more votes". The Democrats are Marxist/Socialist for sure, but the GOP is Nebulous and Soft. There is no statesmanship in the Democrat Party in the sense of service, and there is no statesmanship in the GOP in the sense of pragmatism. Either one equals The End of The American Experiment.
