UPDATE: Home again. A little under 8 hours on the road. Did great until Pasadena when the traffic got us. Between that and the smog I'm ready to head north again.

Glad to read that you made it home safe.
I sometimes get bored with the college trip that I end up taking different ways, for example, skipping the Penn turnpike.
