After being prompted from various lefties to start sounding tough on the Gulf Oil Spill, Obama started sounding tough and that's been a source of great mirth for conservatives. Here's just two sample posts, both from Michelle Malkin's
website (two different authors):

Crisis of not knowing whose ass to kick: Day 50
A short time after telling high school grads in Kalamazoo, Michigan “don’t make excuses,” President Obama told Matt Lauer: “I don’t sit around just talking to experts because this is a college seminar, we talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answers, so I know whose ass to kick.”
Sigh. You ask for John Wayne and you get the Apple Dumpling Gang.
One would hope Obama would be consulting experts so daddy can plug the hole, but if he’d rather utilize the education and time of engineers and oceanographers to figure out whose ass to kick, hey, he’s the president.
All Obama has to do is look around his administration and maybe even in a mirror — if he can’t find multiple asses to kick there, he’s just not the attentive, observant and thoughtful genius that the media advertised all through 2008:
And
this:
Am I the only one that couldn’t stop laughing after hearing President Obama try to man up and threaten to “kick some ass?”
I mean, seriously, what’s he gonna do once he finds his “culprit?” Poke ‘em with an eyelash?
When George Bush stood on that destroyed fire truck at Ground Zero and told the assembled workers that "the people that knocked these buildings down will here from ALL of us pretty soon", nobody doubted the emotion or the message. When Obama tries to sound tough nobody can take him seriously. He just doesn't have it in him.

It's been a couple of weeks since we last heard from mama grizzlie.
What's up now?
We got a political news tip on our Facebook page from Wonkette operative “Laura,” and it goes like this: “Sarah Palin 12/09 no boobs http://bit.ly/bmQtPJ #Sarah Palin today, Instant boobage! http://j.mp/dokqd2 only her #plasticsurgeon knows4sure.” We are not fluent in the Twitter-Facebook dialects, but somehow we can follow the gist

Pretty sad posting when "boobs" mean that much to some people. The biggest BOOB is in the White House.
You are absolutely CORRECT !!! he is a BOOB !
I believe we can add UN-AMERICAN MORONIC SOCIALIST TRAITOR.
THOMAS EBBERS
Not only is the "boob" posting sad, it's off-topic.
I was at a social event recently where, inevitably, talk turned to the oil spill.
Seconds into the conversation a Lib blamed the spill on Bush (oil regulators in the government that Bush put there, she said).
I couldn't believe it. You hear things like this on our side about their side. But I was sitting there listening to this woman blame Bush. (At the same event another woman blamed Bush for problems with the schools -- this is deep blue Maryland.)
Blaming Bush is a religion. These folks act like they don't even care whether the problem is solved or not. It's the blaming that matters!
No wonder Obama blames (Bush, BP, Republicans, Wall Street, the Tea Parties, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, his pastor Rev. Wright, et al). It's what his supporters want.
Personally I think Bush caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs, you recall, decomposed and after a few million years turned into oil. And that, of course, led to Greed, Big Oil and ultimately to the Gulf spill.
Hey, it's as good as any reasoning I heard from my Lib neighbors.
Well, Ann, you'll find me blaming Obama for the failure to capture Osama this past 9 years.
