Ronald Reagan's Address on the 40th Anniversary of D-Day
Sixty-six years ago this day Allied troops stormed ashore on the beaches of Normandy, France as they began the ground effort to retake Europe from the Germans. On the 40th anniversary of that fight President Ronald Reagan traveled to France and gave a memorable speech on the sight of a pivotal battle. Here is that address:
