Take a Walk Back to '64

I mentioned in an earlier post about the little treasure of Beatles memorabilia my wife found earlier today. Just for fun I thought I'd show you the whole treasure trove of cards:

In case there are any collectors reading this, here's what we have in the collection above:
  • In the color series, we have cards 1, 3, 4, 5, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24, 25, 29, 33, 34, 37, 38, 41, 50, 54, 58, 61, and 64.
  • In the B/W Series 2 cards we have 85 & 104
  • In the B/W Series 3 cards we have 116, 117, 122, 123, 124, 126*, 129, 133, 136, 139, 141*, 142*, 143, 148, 150, 151, 152*, 154, 155, 156, 160, 161, 163, 165 // The * denotes cards that we have in duplicate
She also found these two August issues of Life Magazine and the Saturday Evening Post:

On the back of the color cards were questions that a member of the group would answer.  I found these two, both answered by John Lennon, to be interesting:

I guess this was before Linda and Yoko really got into the act.

Now all I have to do is figure out what all this stuff is worth.

Coats. Ties. Hair combed. (Remember when THAT was radical hair styling? Seems like you could get kicked out of school for that.)

And I used to thing their stuff was discordant and loud.

As I was a little young to enjoy the Beatles first time around, I read all that I could find later on.
I found at the university library "Communism, Hypnotism And The Beatles." by Rev David Noebel and his other, "The Beatles: A Study in Drugs, Sex and Revolution"
