Sixty percent (60%) of voters nationwide favor repeal of the recently passed health care law, including 49% who Strongly Favor repeal. At this point it's unlikely that such a repeal could ever take place. For one thing it would require a veto-proof GOP majority in both houses of Congress, and even with a Dem blowout looming, that's not going to happen. The better chance will come if we get a GOP president in 2013 combined with GOP majorities in Congress.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 36% oppose repeal. That figure includes 24% who are Strongly Opposed.
Forty-three percent (43%) believe repeal would be good for the nation’s economy. Twenty-seven percent (27%) believe repeal would be bad for the economy, while 20% say it would have no impact.
Of course, the GOP could just "deem" it repealed. That seems to work for Democrats when they want something.

If the GOP had any principles and the will to stand for those principles, repeal would happen as soon as there was a legislative majority. If the Current president wants to veto the repeal then that veto is ammunition for the next election battle.
As it stands, I expect the GOP to show their cowardice by avoiding this confrontation. I also expect that they will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and that they will not even be able to figure out why they lost the elections that they should have won.
The Democrats are dedicated Marxists, and the GOP are dedicated wimps; the result is that We The People lose, because their is NO choice which represents us anymore.
There is always a choice for the people. But it will require the "people" to get involved.
More "people" need to get involved in government, even if it means just sitting in on city council or college board meetings. How about running for office?
There is no choice for those who just sit on the sidelines and grouse.
Guy Average, you pretty well said exactly what the problem is that we the Republican Party member's are facing.
