The RightOnline is From The Venetian, the Nutroots Are From The Rio

You can learn a lot about right versus left just be reading these first few paragraphs:
After years of being overshadowed by organized, liberal bloggers dominating the Internet, hundreds of conservative writers descended on Las Vegas Friday for a conference held in the shadow of their rivals.

RightOnline, sponsored by the conservative group Americans for Prosperity, organized itself for a two-day conference held at the Venetian. Across town, the four-day Netroots Nation conference, the brainchild of Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas and paid for by more than a half dozen unions as well as Democratic organizations, was holding its fifth annual conference at the Rio hotel.
Now, let's look at a Vegas map:

The Venetian, located at letter A above, is a very upscale hotel, everything first class, right in the heart of the Strip. I guess you could say it's in the "mainstream" of Las Vegas resort hotels.

The Rio is a relatively tired, much older place, which isn't even important enough for Google Maps to list as a destination.  On the map above it would be found in the far lower left where the Hwy 592 symbol is.  You can't even describe it as being on the Strip.  It is clearly out of the mainstream.  It's also the home of the World Series of Poker whose main event features one winner and 7,000 losers.

Very symbolic of the current status of right versus left.
