HolyCoast.com Anniversary Week Fundraiser

This week will mark the 6th anniversary of HolyCoast.com.  I began blogging on September 15, 2004, right in the heart of the presidential race and the Rathergate Texas Air National Guard scandal that eventually cost Dan Rather his job.  I was inspired by a number of people, including Hugh Hewitt, whose radio show and blog encouraged everyone to get into blogging if they felt they had something to say.  I took a shot and here I am six years later.

Since then I've posted nearly 21,000 individual items on a host of subjects, from politics to social issues to religion to humor to personal stuff.  It's been a lot of fun and I hope to continue as long as I think I've got something to add to the discussion.
