There's been a huge gas explosion in San Bruno, near the San Francisco Airport. There's video at the link that is really scary looking. The initial reports were calling it an aircraft crash, but that didn't turn out to be correct. So far they've gone to 6 alarms with at least 20 homes burning plus a number of acres of wildland. UPDATE: Up to 53 homes lost, 120 homes damaged, something like 2 dozen people transported to area hospitals, 3 confirmed fatalities. Authorities asking for O- blood donors. Lots of blood will be needed for the burn victims. The video looks like something out of Dante's Inferno.
