From Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA), who is running for re-election in a district that's becoming increasingly Vietnamese:

"The Vietnamese and the Republicans are, with an intensity, trying to take away this seat."

About her opponent:

Sanchez has felt entitled ever since she beat "B1 Bob" Dornan in 1996 thanks to some creative voting by Hispanics.
