It's pretty rare that I get to say that Bill Clinton was right, but he was right in the 1992 debate pictured above. Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown is trying to take credit for Proposition 13, a huge tax cut that he actively opposed and described as a "scam". He may have been frugal (or even weird) in his personal life, but as governor he was as big a spender as they came and he hated to see millions of Californians get a huge tax break when Prop 13 passed.
