"Recovery Summer" Headlines of the Day

I hate to interrupt Obama's many vacations, but this doesn't look like recovery:
Economy LOST 283,000 jobs during 'Recovery Summer' months...

WRONG WAY: UNEMPLOYMENT CLIMBS TO 9.6%

'Recovery Summer' Ends With Economic Pothole...

TREASURY SECRETARY RUSHES BACK FROM VACATION AS AIDES SEARCH FOR JOBS PACKAGE...

However, as noted in this Washington Post piece, the prez is on the job:
...some Democrats complain, that the president was barely focused on the economy at all.

His advisers described his attentiveness – noting, for example, that he discussed the economy with New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg (I) for 15 minutes before golfing – but got little traction.
"We've got to get America back to work. Now watch this drive."

And...it was all totally UNEXPECTED!

Oh, wow, man, you should try this stuff.

You know, you Obama bashers have short memories. Bush, your hero, was the one who took too many vacations at critical times.

Your hatred of Obama is leading you towards deeper and deeper dishonesty. You should watch that.

Remind me again, Mike, which summer did Bush go on four vacations to four different places in the middle of an economic crisis?

Mike, you might look at the economic situation prior to Democratic control of Congress in 2008. Seems the market and jobs were increasing. Unemployment was low. Perhaps you should examine the economy in times of Democrat control?
