As is often the case these days, whenever there's a tragic accident a shrine to the victims often pops up where friends and well-wishers can express their feelings of loss. Such is the case with the bridge over the railroad tracks at Alicia Parkway, the site closest to the location of Thursday's Metrolink accident that I reported on shortly after it happened. We took a walk tonight and stopped by the spot to see what others had left:
There were several visitors there when we got there, and while eating dinner across the street we saw a number of others walk up to check it out. Such a shame and needless loss of life.
