Something fishy is going on in Los Angeles. On Sunday a Guatemalan immigrant day laborer, who was apparently drunk at the time and was known to be a neighborhood nuisance, was threatening a woman with a knife when he was confronted by two LAPD bicycle officers. When the man refused to comply and continued his threats he was shot and killed by officers. Almost immediately the illegal alien grievance groups went into full stride.
Witness statements taken by the cops seem to verify their version of the event, but that's not good enough for the rabble that started showing up egged on by local activists including someone from a local Hispanic newspaper who was frequently interviewed on TV. The whole thing is starting to look like a repeat of 1965 when a drunk driving arrest led to the Watts Riots.
Now the cops are getting questions from the press like "why didn't you shoot him in the leg" or other equally dumb inquiries. As an LAPD spokesman told the reporter "that stuff only happens in the movies".
Last night there was a violent confrontation between a whole bunch of people who are responding to the incitement by the activists and almost none of whom have any first-hand knowledge of the incident. They're looking for an excuse to riot, loot and burn. For awhile there it looked like something pretty big was about to kick off.
Things are still tense in downtown L.A., but perhaps now that the holiday weekend is over the people will lose interest...unless the activists keep trying to incite a riot.

And they wonder why the majority of LEGAL Americans support Arizona law.
Get these non tax paying free loaders out of our country. All 10 Million of them. Load up trains and take their asses back to Mexico. If they are not from Mexico put them to work on chain gangs and get some clean up of our roads and sewers done.
