Today's Chris Christie Lesson in Government

Even when he's not in New Jersey he's teaching people how to act.  This story comes from a Meg Whitman event the other night in which Gov. Chris Christie was a guest speaker:
True to his tough-guy persona, Gov. Chris Christie mixed it up today with a political naysayer, who heckled California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman at a political rally.

Christie was concluding a town hall meeting with Whitman when an angry audience member criticized her for not taking questions.

"What are you hiding?" shouted Ed Buck, in jeans and a light shirt in the front row of the 400-person event. "You're looking like Arnold in a dress," he said in a reference to outgoing California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Before Whitman could respond, Christie stepped down from the stage and got in Buck's face.

"Hey, listen. You know what. You want to yell, yell at me," Christie said, shutting down Buck as Christie's bodyguards calmly but quickly approached the two men. "It's people who raise their voices and yell and scream like you who are dividing this country. We're here to bring this country together."
You can see the video here. Christie gets right in the guy's face.

And there's this:
“After the New Jersey state Senate defeated an attempt to override the decision of Gov. Chris Christie to cut off state taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood abortion businesses, the first facility run by the national abortion giant is closing.”

I wonder what Mr. Christy would have done had he been a member of our UN deligation today when Ahmadinejad said "9/11 was work of Americans to save Israel"?

I can just see Mr. Christy getting out of his seat, walking up to the podium with a micrphone, pointing his finger and saying, "How bout you and me stepping out back and having our own private debate with no witnesses?"

Another thought about what Mr. Christy might have done had he been a member of our UN delegation today when Ahmadinejad said "9/11 was work of Americans to save Israel".

Maybe he would have quietly got up and left the Assembly, walked down the hall to the offices of the Israeli delegation, stuck his head in the door and said, "Sic Him"!
