Although the story is now almost 10 years old I have to once again recommend this book by Bill Sammon. This is the story of the infamous 2000 Florida recount. I've read it a couple of times and decided to start it again, and with every page I'm reminded of the outrage I felt at the time all this was going on. Sammon was on the scene as a reporter through the 36 days of the recounts, court battles and other things that went on and it's a really interesting story.
You can get used copies for almost nothing, but even buying the paperback new would be worth the money. It's a good reminder of just what the Democrat party is willing to do to win.

I also highly recommend Sammon's book, one of the best political history books of the last couple decades.
Best wishes,
Laura
