So it turns out that most of the 109 Ohio Education Association workers on strike earn over $100,000 — just the kind of exploited worker envisioned by the drafters of the Wagner Act. Their average pay is $111,350, which is roughly $10,000 more than the average Ohio school district superintendent and double what the average teacher makes in Ohio. During the first day of the strike, one picketer was struck by a car trying to enter the OEA parking lot, and the OEA called in Pinkertons to control the “mob.” Lane Kirkland and Jimmy Hoffa must be so proud.I think this is what they refer to as "jumping the shark".

The World's Most Ironic Strike
Yesterday 109 employees of the Ohio Education Association, the union representing teachers in that state, went on strike against...the union. These people are not exactly oppressed workers as Matt Mayer explains:
