54% of Likely Voters Self-Identify as Conservatives

Only 27% identify as moderates with 18% liberal, according to Gallup. In addition, 39% identify themselves as Republican, 31% Independent, and 30% Democrat. When they take the Independents and factor in their leanings, the numbers show 57% Republicans, 39% Democrat and 4% can't make up their minds.
