Blast From the Past
Just for grins and giggles, take a look at this Markos post from October 2008 where he scoffs at the notion the GOP will pick up Senate seats in 2010. Look how many Democrats on his list are either retiring, no longer in office, or are in desperate election trouble. My how things have changed in these brief two years.

I do believe Markos identified the problem:
But assuming the current trends remain and Obama is even half-competent in the White House, we'll have little to worry about in 2010.
I'm afraid he didn't live up to the "half-competent" level, and his Democrat minions in congress did even worse.
