The Eeyore Post

For those of you who may still be Eeyores expecting everything to go wrong tomorrow, Nate Silver has the post for you.  Earlier today he wrote a very glowing account of what might happen if the GOP not only matches but beats expectations.  You'll find the meat of that post here.  Tonight Nate is still projecting 54 seats in the House.

However, because Silver writes for the NY Times he undoubtedly got some serious heat for writing such a nightmare scenario for Democrats, so to give the left 24 hours of warm fuzzies he wrote a piece that says why Democrats might beat the odds and hold the House.  As I read it I could sense his heart really wasn't in it, but to keep peace in the NY Times family it had to be done.
