Arrived without incident in Northern California about 9:30 last night after a nine hour drive from Palm Springs. Ran in pretty heavy rain for the last two hours or so and that made things a little more exciting. A couple of times I just locked into the guy ahead of me and hoped he didn't drive off into a ditch because if he did, I was going there too.
Blogging will be kind of intermittent for the next three days as we visit the college girl and drive home on Monday.
