It's Christmas Morning for Conservative Pundits

All around the country voters are going to the polls and wrapping packages just for me, and sometime beginning about 4pm PDT this afternoon we'll start unwrapping them.

Am I excited?  In the words of Sarah Palin, "you betcha!"

We'll start in the East where I hope to hear that people like Bawney Fwank and Dennis Kucinich have been kicked to the curb.  Maybe even the former bearded Marxist Chris Coons will get beaten by Christine O'Donnell in Delaware.  In this election anything can happen.

As the red wave moves west we'll hear about the Dem meltdown in Ohio, Russ Feingold beaten in Wisconsin, Obama's old Senate seat going to the GOP.

By 8pm the polls in most of the country will be closed and we'll hopefully hear that Harry Reid is gone, Buck has held on in Colorado, and Boxer and Murray are in trouble in California and Washington.  The GOP gains in the House will be in the several dozen and still climbing.  The Senate will be edging toward 50-50.

Of course, like any Christmas morning there could be disappointments.  We won't know until everything's unwrapped.  But I don't think there will be many lumps of coal in GOP stockings tonight.
