Pelosi: It Was For the Children

During a post-election interview with Diane Sawyer Nancy Pelosi said a lot of silly things, tried to blame Bush, and generally blamed everybody but Obama and the Dem agenda.  This statement caught my eye:

“Being the first woman Speaker and breaking the marble ceiling is pretty important. But I think the contribution is the legislation that we have passed for all of America’s children.”

Oh, it was for the children! All that new debt, the higher taxes and lower standards of living in future years was for the children.

Good thing the children couldn't vote or the Dems would have lost ALL of their seats.
