Congress Hits New Low

And we're not just talking about Harry Reid's attempt to jam a 2,000 page spending bill through at the last minute:

Americans' assessment of Congress has hit a new low, with 13% saying they approve of the way Congress is handling its job. The 83% disapproval rating is also the worst Gallup has measured in more than 30 years of tracking congressional job performance.

I don't expect marked improvement in the polling when the GOP takes over. The Democrats have so poisoned Congress in the eyes of the voters it will be pretty hard to turn that around.
