Billy Graham's Regret

A guy who has lived life as Billy Graham has probably doesn't have too many regrets, but there are some things the famous evangelist would have done differently:
Billy Graham, the beloved evangelist known as "America's pastor," says that looking back on his long life and public ministry, one thing he would do differently is to avoid the political entanglements that have been one of the rare blots on his otherwise hallowed legacy.

"I . . . would have steered clear of politics," Graham, now 92 and in need of round-the-clock care, said via e-mail in response to questions from Christianity Today, the evangelical monthly he founded in the 1950s.

Graham also said that if he could go back and do anything differently he would "spend more time at home with my family, and I'd study more and preach less."

But it was his regret over his past political liaisons that stands out in an era when many Christian figures do not hesitate to champion politicians or cheer for a particular party.

"I'm grateful for the opportunities God gave me to minister to people in high places; people in power have spiritual and personal needs like everyone else, and often they have no one to talk to," Graham said in the e-mail exchange.

"But looking back I know I sometimes crossed the line, and I wouldn't do that now.
That's good advice for all high profile pastors.

Graham has lived an amazing life.  One of these days he'll get the call home, but not until the angels have come up with an appropriate welcome.

It’s proved that Billy Graham has been a 33 degree free mason working undercover as an evangelist. Nobody should pay attention to what he is saying. His loyalty belongs to god of the dark world of esotery and not to Christ and the Bible. He has been working with the Vatican hand in glove but now he regrets that he can’t do more of the same due to his physical frailty.

Well, Anonymous, that's easily the dumbest thing I've read all day. You say it's "proved" and yet offer no proof. Perhaps you should stop listening to the pinhead conspiracy theorists and engage your brain.

He was listed amongst the other famous free masons on their website which caused a lot of concerns in the evangelical circles. A month or so later his name has been taken of the list. I have a copy of the original page somewhere on my portable HD and if you wish you can have it, though I don't think it would help with your current attitude.
Another point: Billy Graham has received the highest reword from Templeton Society for his work. Do little bit of research and find out what is the Templeton Society all about.
G. W Bush the established Bonesman has called Billy Graham his spiritual father, just a little coincidence.

I'm reading George W. Bush's book right now. He calls Billy Graham his "spiritual father" because Graham led him to the Lord. Not every thing has secret, multiple meanings. I'm sorry, but targeting Billy Graham with a bunch of nutty conspiracy theories makes as much sense as claiming the U.S. purposely destroyed the World Trade Center.
