Grand Californian

I snapped a couple of shots at the Grand Californian Hotel at the Disney Resort this afternoon.  The Monorail shot is in the previous post, and then there's these:

I went up to the 5th floor and took a shot straight down at the tourists below.

We found an outdoor patio on the 5th floor that I didn't know was there.  It looks out over the hotel pool and Disney's California Adventure beyond.  In the distance you can see the skeleton of what will be the Cadillac Mountains of the new Car's Land attraction.

When we first got our annual passes to Disneyland in 1987 this whole area was part of a 100 acre parking lot.
