SPEED Channel did a great one hour documentary recounting the events of February 18, 2001, the day Dale Earnhardt was killed in a last lap accident during the Daytona 500. It includes many moving remembrances from the people who were closest to Earnhardt and the incident that took his life, including Michael Waltrip who won the race and Kenny Schrader, who was the first driver to get to Earnhardt's car following the accident.
The show is called "The Day" and will air again tonight at 6pm PST/9pm EDT on SPEED. Watch it.
