Dems: "Run and Hide! Run and Hide!"

Because of my Vegas trip I haven't had much time to follow the news, but I have managed to read a little bit about the Monty Python routine currently taking place in Wisconsin.  Fourteen State Senate Dems have fled to Illinois rather than show up for work, all because they're so in bed with the unions they'd rather bankrupt the state than allow some fiscal sanity to occur.

By hiking up their skirts and heading for the hills they're trying to deny the Senate the quorum they need to enact Gov. Scott Walker's reform agenda.  The media, of course, is depicting them as "brave" and "principled".

They're anything but.  They're the Monty Python players who shout "run and hide!" When challenged.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened.  A few years ago Texas Dems lit out for New Mexico as they abdicated they're responsibility.  Not only are the Wisconsin Dems cowards, they're not very creative.

And job abdication does seem to be a Dem feature and not a bug.  Witness the Obama $3.73 trillion dollar budget that didn't even bother to address entitlement reforms.

Gov. Walker ought to have his legal team check the state constitution to see if he might be able to declare those Dem seats vacant due to job abandonment.  Schedule a special election and replace all of them.  That would stir things up.

Meanwhile back home the unions and Obama's political organization, along with the national Dem Party, are organizing mass temper tantrums in Madison.  Thousands are showing up to wave their placards and chant their insipid slogans.  Beats working for a living.

A quick look at the November election results will tell you that there are far more Wisconsans that support Gov. Walker and the GOP majority than support the fleeing Fems...er, Dems.  However, those folks are at a disadvantage...they have to work for a living.  You won't find them marching around Madison.  They're too busy keeping the economy going.

Stand strong against the union thugs, Gov. Walker! You're doing the right thing for Wisconsin and the country.

And if you can, fire those cowards.
